Former President Donald Trump is set to introduce "Operation Aurora" during his rally in Aurora, Colorado, this Friday, aiming to combat illegal immigrant members of the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua.

A senior Trump campaign official revealed to Fox News Digital that the program will target and dismantle criminal networks involving illegal migrants, utilizing the Alien Enemies Act of 1798.

The announcement comes following a recent incident where Tren de Aragua gang members were caught on camera in Aurora, armed with rifles and handguns, forcing their way into an apartment and fatally shooting a 25-year-old man. All three identified assailants were illegal aliens previously in Border Patrol custody but later released into the U.S.

Trump's campaign also referenced the tragic murder of 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray, who was kidnapped and assaulted for hours before being allegedly killed by two gang members. Additionally, just this week, police arrested over a dozen Tren de Aragua members in San Antonio, Texas, after they took over an apartment complex and terrorized residents.

Trump’s campaign highlights newly released ICE data, claiming there are over 13,000 illegal alien convicted murderers currently at large in the U.S., a situation they attribute to "Border Czar Kamala Harris." Operation Aurora aims to address these threats at a federal level.
