Traffic police wardens, students and scouts distributed pamphlets about dengue fever to motorists at 39 locations in the city on Sunday to raise awareness about the disease.
Some 200 students and scouts, 39 inspectors and 144 wardens (including 21 female wardens) took part in the campaign, briefing citizens on precautionary measures and handing out pamphlets for three hours.
Chief Traffic Officer Ahmad Mobin said that the police were encouraging citizens to take precautionary measures against dengue.
