Chilling details emerge of Suzanne Clark Simpson's final moments before disappearance

Suzanne Clark, wife of business tycoon, disappeared under troubling circumstances with her husband now in custody.

A woman from Olmos Park, Texas, disappeared under troubling circumstances last Sunday night, leaving her family and police searching for answers. 

Suzanne Clark Simpson, 51, was last seen around 11 p.m. after what neighbors described as a heated argument with her husband, Brad Simpson, a 53-year-old wealthy realtor. Police have since arrested Simpson, though he has refused to cooperate with investigators.

In a vigil held for Suzanne, her mother, Barbara Clark, revealed details of a phone call she had with her daughter just hours before her disappearance. "She called me and told me things Brad had done to her physically," Clark said, explaining that Suzanne had reported being injured earlier that evening. "I came up with a plan for her to move in with me, but I never got to tell her."

Brad Simpson is currently charged with family violence and unlawful restraint, being held on a $2 million bond, with a hearing scheduled for Tuesday. Neighbors reported hearing an intense altercation between the couple before Suzanne vanished, with one witness alleging Brad was seen restraining her near a wooded area. Shortly after, screams were heard, raising further concerns about her well-being.

Olmos Park Police Chief Fidel Villegas commented, "That night we think she was in distress." Authorities have expanded their search to other properties owned by the Simpson family.

Speaking to KSAT, Suzanne's mother expressed her fears, saying, "I don't think she is alive. I have not heard from her." Despite the grim outlook, Suzanne’s family remains determined to find her. "We will not stop until we find her," vowed her brother-in-law, Barton Tinsley Simpson. The investigation continues.
