India's MS Dhoni stuns fans with trendy makeover

Cricketer has parted with his golden locks for a more contemporary style crafted by celebrity hairstylist Aalik Hakim

MS Dhoni, the legendary Indian cricketer renowned for both his sporting prowess and iconic hairstyles, has once again made headlines with a brand new look ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction.

Dhoni, who sported long hair during IPL 2024, has parted with his golden locks for a more contemporary style crafted by celebrity hairstylist Aalik Hakim.

Fans are stunned by the transformation, as the 43-year-old's fresh haircut, combined with minimal facial hair, gives him a much younger appearance.

Photos shared on social media by Hakim, who is known for his expensive haircuts, depict Dhoni looking almost like a man in his late 20s or early 30s.

While many fans applauded the change, some took to social media to express their disbelief.

One user remarked, “Transition to chapri complete,” while another commented, “There used to be a time when he'd be a trendsetter (for hairstyles).”

Having retired from international cricket, Dhoni continues to represent the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League. Last year, he handed over the captaincy to Ruturaj Gaikwad but remains an integral part of the team as a specialist wicketkeeper.
