Salman Khan joins MS Dhoni for birthday celebration in Mumbai

MS Dhoni celebrates his 43rd birthday with Salman Khan and wife Sakshi in Mumbai.

One of India's most loved cricket captains, MS Dhoni, celebrated his 43rd birthday on Sunday, 7 July.

The legendary cricketer marked the occasion by cutting several cakes as the clock struck midnight. Among the close friends and family present was Bollywood star Salman Khan.

The 'Sultan' actor shared a cherished picture from the celebration on Sunday morning, writing, "Happy Birthday Kaptaan Sahab!"

In another video from the event, Dhoni's wife Sakshi was seen touching his feet as he cut a cake.

Dhoni is currently in Mumbai to attend the wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. He made a starry appearance with Sakshi at the sangeet celebration on July 5.

To commemorate Dhoni's 43rd birthday, the makers of 'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story' decided to re-release the movie in theatres from July 5 to July 11.

Directed by Neeraj Pandey, the film chronicles the life of the cricketer, with the late Sushant Singh Rajput portraying the titular role.

The film also features Disha Patani, Kiara Advani, and Anupam Kher and has grossed Rs 215.50 crore worldwide.

Meanwhile, Salman Khan is busy shooting for 'Sikandar', directed by AR Murugadoss.

The actor recently wrapped up the film's first schedule in Mumbai, where he reportedly shot a thrilling climax sequence. Rashmika Mandanna stars opposite Salman in this highly anticipated movie.
