ISLAMABAD:

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has filed a contempt of court petition against the Director of the CDA in the Islamabad High Court for failing to de-seal the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House.

The petition requests that contempt proceedings be initiated against the relevant party. The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government approached the Islamabad High Court after the court's order was allegedly ignored. The petition states that the court had ordered the de-sealing of the K-P House the previous day.

Despite presenting the court order from October 10 to the relevant department, no action was taken and the court's directive was not followed. The petition argues that all parties are obligated to comply with court orders and that failure to do so constitutes contempt of court.
