Creator provides best understanding of life's purpose: Zakir Naik

He expressed these views during his address at the Governor House in Karachi

KARACHI:

Renowned religious scholar Dr. Zakir Naik said that the best understanding of life's purpose can be provided by our Creator, Allah. If we seek the blessings of the Hereafter, the world will naturally follow. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said, "Live in this world as if you are a traveler," and every action should be for the sake of pleasing Allah. In Islam, even a small good deed performed consistently holds great significance.

He expressed these views during his address at the Governor House in Karachi. Dr Zakir Naik said that after 12 years, he is delivering a speech in Urdu in Pakistan, which is a source of joy for him. The topic of today's speech was "The Purpose of Life." He added that many people live their lives without defining their purpose and merely imitate others, but the true purpose is to worship Allah and follow His commands.

Dr Naik further stated that Allah tests humans, so they may show gratitude or patience. Faith, righteous deeds, promoting truth, and teaching patience are essential. Allah forgives every sin except shirk (associating partners with Him). Muslims have been declared the best nation, but with that comes the responsibility to promote good and prevent evil.

He emphasized that we should seek the blessings of the Hereafter more than worldly gains, as the life hereafter is eternal. If the purpose of life aligns with the teachings of Allah and His Messenger, success is assured.

Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori, said that through Dr Zakir Naik, millions of people have embraced Islam, and his arrival in Pakistan sends a strong message. He urged the youth to use social media positively and play their role in the development of Pakistan.
