Wendy Williams has commented on the ongoing sex trafficking investigation into Sean "Diddy" Combs, stating that it was "about time" the disgraced rapper was investigated. Speaking to DailyMail on October 1, 2024, Williams, 60, expressed relief that Combs, 54, is facing justice. "What is really weird is that I have been told by so many people 'Wendy, you called it,'" Williams said, adding that some of her own family members acknowledged her past criticisms of the rapper.
Combs, who is currently awaiting trial at Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center, has been charged with sex trafficking, racketeering, and transporting individuals for prostitution. Williams was horrified by footage showing Combs allegedly abusing his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura. “To see this video on TV of [Cassie] getting pummeled… it was just horrific,” she said, adding, "But now you have to think, how many more times? How many people? How many more women?"
