The Weeknd and Playboi Carti have released the official video for their track “Timeless,” directed by Gunner Stahl.
The eerie clip, which dropped on Monday (Sept. 30), follows the release of the single last week, marking another collaboration between the two artists.
In the video, The Weeknd (Abel Tesfaye) and Playboi Carti throw a dark, all-black-themed party in a desolate warehouse. Playboi Carti is seen sporting an Allen Iverson football jersey worn backward, paired with Opium chains and his signature double-horned hat.
The scene features dancers surrounding the artists, though both Carti and Tesfaye maintain their distance in the somber, ominous setting.
“Timeless” is the second single from The Weeknd's highly anticipated Hurry Up Tomorrow album, which will conclude his After Hours/Dawn FM trilogy. Fans are already praising the visual, with one commenting on YouTube, "THIS DUO IS 2/2, WE NEED MORE COLLABS," while another noted, “Carti literally unleashed his entire Inventory/repertoire of Voices in this song!”
Earlier this year, the pair collaborated with Madonna on “Popular,” a track from The Idol, which peaked at No. 43 on the Billboard Hot 100. The Weeknd's newest single, “Dancing in the Flames,” debuted at No. 14 on the Hot 100 last week, continuing the momentum as fans await more details on Hurry Up Tomorrow.
