Alpha, Nixor excel in PSSO Games

Teams from over 30 schools and colleges were seen in action in the Under-17 and Under-19 events

The National School Games 2024, organized by the Pakistan School Sports Organization (PSSO), kicked off at different venues in the city.

Teams from over 30 schools and colleges from across the country were seen in action in the Under-17 and Under-19 competition of table tennis, badminton, and football.

In badminton, Under-17 Girls event was won by Alpha High School while DelSol School was runners-up. Best Player was Mirha from Alpha High School.

In the Under-19 Girls badminton event, Alpha College won the title and Abiya was declared the best player. Scepter College finished as the runners-up.

In the Under-19 Boys badminton event, Alpha College won the first position while Nixor College was the runners-up. Best player was Abdullah Hashmi of Alpha College

In table tennis Under-17 Girls event, Origin School won the first position while

Titan College ended as runners-up.

In the Under-19 Girls table tennis competition, Whales College excelled to bag the first position while Alpha College finished runners-up. Eman Khalid of Alpha College was declared as the best player.

In the Under-17 Boys TT event, Alpha High bagged the top position while Shah Wilayat School finished as runners-up. Best Player was Fazeel of Alpha High School.

In the Under-19 Boys table tennis event, Nixor College bagged the first place while Whales College finshed second. Best Player was Saem Saad of Nixor College.

Earlier, in the opening ceremony at the NED University Gymnasium, Quratul Ain Khan, Member of the Provincial Assembly of Sindh, was the chief guest while President PSSO Gohar Raza and other distinguished guests were also present on the occasion.
