BNP-M leader gunned down in Quetta

QUETTA:

A central leader of the Balochistan National Party (Mengal), was gunned down by armed assailants in the Killi Geo area of Quetta on Saturday.

Police told The Express Tribune that the attackers opened fire on Agha Khalid, killing him on the spot. He was rushed to the Civil Hospital Quetta where doctors pronounced him dead on arrival. A large number of party supporters and family members reached the hospital after the attack.

BNP (Mengal) has strongly condemned the assassination. In a statement, the party's spokesperson expressed deep sorrow and outrage over the loss of their esteemed leader.

"This heinous act is not just an attack on Agha Khalid but an assault on the entire party and our struggle for rights of people and justice," the spokesperson said.
