A policeman stationed at the Site Superhighway Northern Bypass Toll Plaza fired shots at a passenger bus, resulting in the bus's tyres bursting.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported. In response to the incident, bus drivers held a sit-in protest at the Northern Bypass, creating a long queue of vehicles and causing significant traffic congestion, which inconvenienced local citizens. The local police arrived shortly after being informed of the situation.

According to police reports, the constable was subsequently taken into custody and transferred to the police station.
