A foreign actor resembling Bollywood star John Abraham has taken social media by storm.

Ilias Christophoridis, who bears a striking resemblance to the Bollywood actor, has captured the attention of fans worldwide.

Many have dubbed him the "Arabic John Abraham" due to his uncanny resemblence.

In the caption, he wrote, "That’s for my Indian peeps," dedicating the video to his Indian fans. He also used hashtags like #JohnAbraham, #Bollywood, #Hindi, and #BollywoodSongs.

The comment section was flooded with fans expressing their amazement at the resemblance.

One comment read, "Oh my God... looks like John Ibrahim," while another referred to Elias as the "Russian John Abraham."

Some fans even suggested that Elias looked like a mix of other Bollywood stars, with comments such as, "Saif Ali Khan + John Abraham" and "John Abraham + Hrithik Roshan."

Recently, Ilias posted another video of himself in a black blazer, further fuelling the online comparisons. Fans responded with fire emojis and comments like, "Wish I could tag John," and "Bro is more John than John himself."

This isn't the first time John Abraham has reacted to such comparisons.

Earlier this year, the actor himself commented on an Instagram video by influencer Vansh Gandhi, who impersonated him by mimicking his body language and expressions.

John Abraham was last seen in the film Vedaa, released on Independence Day 2024.

Directed by Nikhil Advani, the film, inspired by real-life events, focuses on caste discrimination.

John plays the role of Abhimanyu Kanwar, a former Army major and mentor to the titular character, portrayed by Sharvari Wagh.
