Pakistan's Huzaifa Shahid wins Japan Junior Open Squash 2024

Shahid defeated China’s Xi Liu in the final with a decisive 3-0 scoreline, securing his third major title this year.

A 13-year-old Pakistani squash player has brought honor to the country by winning the championship held in Japan.

In the Junior Squash Championship conducted in Japan, children under the age of 15 participated, and Pakistani youth Huzaifa Shahid emerged victorious.

Upon winning the championship, Huzaifa Shahid said, "My success is for my country and my nation. Along with me, the entire Pakistani nation deserves applause for this achievement."

Huzaifa’s recent victory in Japan marks a pivotal moment in his developing squash career.

He won the Under-13 title at the Japan Junior Open Squash 2024, delivering an impressive performance by defeating China’s Yuan Xi Liu in the final with a decisive 3-0 scoreline.

This achievement reinforces his reputation as a leading talent in junior squash and is his third major title of 2024.

Earlier this year, Huzaifa also triumphed at the Hong Kong Junior Squash Championship and the Australian Junior Open, further establishing himself as a dominant force in the sport.
