KARACHI:

Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has said that we have given our firm stand by passing a resolution from the Sindh Assembly against the amendment of the Indus River System Authority (IRSA) Act.

The federal government should ensure the implementation of the people's position. He said this during separate meetings with elected representatives at the Chief Minister's House on Thursday. According to the spokesperson of Sindh Chief Minister, the elected representatives had a detailed discussion on the overall law and order situation, health facilities, development projects, other public issues and political and social situation in their areas.

CM inquired about the problems of their constituencies from all elected representatives and issued orders to solve them. The elected representatives informed the Sindh Chief Minister about the damage caused to agriculture by the recent rains. Sindh Chief Minister said that the Sindh government has approved the issuance of Hari Card for Haris. "We are committed to financially supporting the poor."
