Bollywood superstar Alia Bhatt has officially changed her name to Alia Bhatt Kapoor, two years after tying the knot with actor Ranbir Kapoor.
The revelation came during a promotional clip for the second season of comedian Kapil Sharma's Netflix show, The Great Indian Kapil Show.
The promo featured a sneak peek of Bollywood stars who would be guests this season.
In the promo, Alia corrected Kapil after he referred to her as Alia Bhatt, stating, "My name is not Alia Bhatt anymore; it’s Alia Bhatt Kapoor."
Alia and Ranbir, who dated for several years, got married in April 2022. The couple shares an 11-year age gap, with Alia being the younger of the two. In November 2022, they welcomed their daughter, Raha Kapoor.
The announcement of her name change has garnered attention from fans and media alike, further solidifying the couple's strong bond.
