KARACHI:

MQM-P leader Syed Mustafa Kamal has praised the National Assembly speaker's handling of a recent ruckus, saying it upheld the dignity of the chair.

Kamal also criticised the current political crisis, attributing it to 'self-created popular narratives' that mislead the public, particularly the youth.

He expressed concern that political leaders are fostering anti-establishment sentiments for popularity, leading to a dangerous divide.

Kamal urged all political forces to engage in meaningful dialogue beyond personal and partisan interests, stressing the need for mutual respect and understanding in the democratic process.

He advocated for a sympathetic approach toward all parties' concerns.
