Floods in Swat as glaciers melt due to rising temperatures
Soaring temperatures have increased the water level in the Swat river, causing floods in certain areas.

Soaring temperatures have increased the water level in the Swat river, causing floods in certain areas.
Glaciers have begun to melt due to rising temperatures. As a result of this the water level is on the rise in the Swat river.
Mingora, Naway Kallay and adjoining areas have been affected by floods. Houses and crops have been destroyed by the water. The Police line and primary schools are also at risk of being flooded.
