Adin Ross, the popular Gen Z streamer, has once again become a key player in the music world, leaking a snippet of an unreleased Drake and Lil Durk track titled 'Discontinuing Wokhardt'.
The clip, which aired on September 4 during Ross's stream, features Drake singing about giving up lean—a topic that has caught the attention of fans.
The track starts with Lil Durk, but it’s Drake who steals the spotlight. His melodic flow is as catchy as ever, with Ross even commenting on the rapper’s performance during the stream.
However, what has really turned heads is Drake’s opening line, “Discontinuing Wokhardt,” a reference to quitting lean, a potent combination of Promethazine and codeine often associated with the rap culture.
Drake’s new lyrics suggest he may be moving away from the drug, marking a significant shift from his past admissions.
The timing of this snippet comes shortly after Drake faced backlash for a video that appeared to show him drinking lean in the presence of his son, Adonis.
Fans were critical of the rapper’s choice to have the drink around his child, sparking controversy online.
Though lean hasn’t been central to Drake’s image like it has for other rappers such as Future, Drake has previously admitted to using it in moderation.
“Have I sipped codeine before? Yeah, of course,” he told 'The Guardian' in 2011, but he made it clear that excess was never part of his lifestyle.
