JoJo Siwa has addressed speculation about her future with boyfriend Chris Hughes, offering insight into whether she is ready for marriage following recent public appearances.

According to People, the 22-year-old spoke at the Snappy Awards Show in Santa Monica on March 31, 2026, where she admitted that attending her brother Jayden Siwa’s wedding had influenced her perspective on relationships. Reflecting on the experience, she said, “Of course, it gave me the wedding vibes.”

The former Dance Moms star explained that while her relationship with Hughes is still relatively new, the couple are approaching their one-year anniversary. She indicated that marriage is not an immediate priority but remains a possibility in the future.

“And obviously, I think that marriage is, of course, in Chris' hands, and so when he feels the time is right, I'll be ready. Maybe. I'm just kidding,” she said.

Siwa and Hughes first met during her appearance on Celebrity Big Brother UK and confirmed their relationship publicly in June 2025. She described the past year as a positive period, stating that it has been “wild to think” how quickly their relationship has developed.

She also spoke about a recent gesture from Hughes, recalling, “He came to my show in Birmingham [in October 2025]. And he surprised me – I didn't know he was coming. This was really nice.”

Earlier in 2026, Siwa prompted engagement speculation after sharing a Snapchat image of herself in bridal attire with the caption, “Call me wife.” The post added to ongoing public interest in her relationship.

In a previous interview with The Sun’s Fabulous Magazine, Hughes discussed engagement traditions, noting, “You always get people who get engaged [at] Christmas. You see it on Instagram, every year you're gonna see somebody who gets engaged. I kinda like the idea of it not being at a time where it could be expected.”

While the couple continue to discuss their future, no formal plans have been confirmed.
