2. Beyoncé – Cowboy Carter (407,000 Units)
Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter made a massive impact with 407,000 units, marking the second-largest debut of 2024.
The album set records for the highest first-day streams on Spotify before being surpassed by Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department.
It also dominated Amazon Music, achieving the biggest debut ever on the platform globally and breaking the record for most first-day streams for a country album by a female artist on Amazon Music.
3. Sabrina Carpenter – Short n’ Sweet (362,000 Units)
Sabrina Carpenter’s Short n’ Sweet claimed the third-biggest debut of 2024 with 362,000 units.
It marked her first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 and was supported by hit singles like “Espresso” and “Please Please Please.”
The album also achieved 233 million on-demand streams in its first week, the fourth-largest streaming debut of the year.
