Sade, André 3000, Sam Smith, and more than 100 artists have joined forces for 'TRAИƧA', the latest benefit album from the nonprofit Red Hot.

The album’s first single is a cover of Prince’s “I Would Die 4 U,” performed by his former Revolution bandmates Wendy & Lisa alongside U.K. vocalist Lauren Auder.

The collection spans 46 songs and includes contributions from Fleet Foxes, Sade, Sharon Van Etten, and Perfume Genius, among others.

Notably, 'TRAИƧA' features Sade’s first new track since 2018, titled “Young Lion,” and André 3000’s 26-minute instrumental, “Something Is Happening and I May Not Fully Understand But I’m Happy To Stand for the Understanding.”

Wendy & Lisa praised their collaboration with Auder, saying, “We’d venture to say that Prince might’ve enjoyed some of the innovation of this version of the song.”

The project was created by Dust Reid and artist Massima Bell, who aimed to celebrate the contributions of trans and non-binary artists.

According to Bell, “Living under the ongoing Western binary system, trans people reveal maps of possibility for everyone. It’s something we can all learn from.”
