
The city may experience moderate and light rain and thunderstorms today, predicts Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
The maximum temperature is anticipated to stay between 33 and 35 degrees Celsius over the next few days. The monsoon winds affecting eastern Sindh could bring thunderstorms and rain to Karachi today.
The PDM also predicts that no rain is expected in the city for the following week after tomorrow. The department's monsoon alert further indicates that Suburban areas of the city may see moderate rainfall today, while lighter rain is expected in other parts.
Additionally, thunderstorms and rain are forecasted for various rural areas in Sindh, including Tharparkar, Mirpurkhas, Thatta, Jamshoro, Dadu, Matiari, Hyderabad, and other areas. On Tuesday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 33.4 degrees Celsius with a humidity level of 64 per cent.
