Helen Flanagan, former "Coronation Street" star, revealed her emotional journey on the latest episode of "Celebs Go Dating," where she discussed falling in love with former professional boxer David Haye. During the show, Flanagan, 34, opened up to hosts Anna Williamson and Dr. Tara Suwinyattichaiporn, admitting that she "fell in love" with Haye, despite his ongoing open relationship with model Sian Osbourne.

Flanagan, who first met Haye during their stint on "I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!" in 2012, shared that she was deeply attracted to him from the moment they met. "I remember the first time, seeing him in the jungle, I was like 'wow.' It was quite something," she said. However, the relationship became complicated as she struggled with not being the only woman in Haye's life. "He had a girlfriend and an open relationship. I didn't mean to fall in love with him, but I did. We had this amazing connection together – we were like fire," Flanagan added.

Addressing rumors of a "throuple," Flanagan clarified, "No [it wasn’t]. I was in love with him. I wouldn’t have enjoyed watching the man I was in love with have sex with another woman, that’s not for me." She also expressed feelings of guilt over her involvement, saying, "I felt very guilty. I didn’t feel nice about it all. It really upsets me because I don’t mean to hurt other people, but I was just really lonely."

Flanagan's candid revelation has added another layer of complexity to her narrative on "Celebs Go Dating," where she continues to navigate the challenges of love and relationships following her split from footballer Scott Sinclair in 2022.
