Kangana Ranaut opens up about how fame and drama stole her shot at marriage
Bollywood actress and BJP Member of Parliament Kangana Ranaut has claimed that negative publicity has hindered her chances of getting married.
Speaking to the media, the 38-year-old actress expressed her frustration, stating, "Due to all the negative things said about me, I can't seem to get married. People have defamed me so much that it's affecting my personal life."
Kangana, known for her outspoken nature, shared that she holds positive views on marriage and believes that everyone needs a partner.
"I think one should have children and a family," she added.
Kangana also revealed how her legal troubles have further complicated matters. "Whenever there's talk of a potential match, the police show up at my house".
"Once, my potential in-laws were visiting when I suddenly received a court summons. Seeing this situation, they left," she explained, later clarifying that her statement was made in jest.
Kangana Ranaut, who was elected as a Member of Parliament under the BJP banner, secured over 500,000 votes in the election.
Despite her success in politics and cinema, it seems her personal life has been overshadowed by controversies.
Yesterday, the actor expressed her disappointment after the release of her controversial film Emergency was postponed.
She said in a podcast that she will also go to court if need be.
She added, "We'll keep telling those ridiculous stories otherwise. We'll get scared by someone today, someone else tomorrow".
"People will keep scaring us because we get scared so easily. How much will we keep getting scared? I've made this film with a lot of self-respect which is why the CBFC can't point out any contention".
According to Indian media, Emergency was scheduled to hit cinemas on 6th September. However, the release has been delayed due to various controversies.
