Tim Walz's brother, Jeff Walz, has reportedly expressed interest in supporting Republican candidate and former President Donald Trump in the upcoming election.

Jeff Walz, who usually maintains a low profile, became the subject of online discussion after investigative journalist Laura Loomer highlighted his apparent dissatisfaction with his brother, the current governor of Minnesota and Democratic vice presidential candidate alongside Kamala Harris.

Loomer took to X (formerly Twitter) to share her findings, stating, "Tim Walz @GovTimWalz and @KamalaHarris are such a bad Presidential ticket that Walz's own BROTHER is supporting Donald Trump instead." She claimed that Jeff Walz had donated to Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign, citing Federal Election Commission records as evidence.

In addition to the donation, Loomer alleged that on March 30, 2023, the same day Trump was charged with business fraud, Jeff Walz referred to the U.S. under President Joe Biden as a "third world banana republic" in a Facebook post.

Loomer also reported that Jeff Walz commented on social media, "The stories I could tell. Not the type of character you want making decisions about your future," in reference to his brother. He further added, "Haven't spoken to him in 8 years. I'm 100% opposed to all his ideology."

Loomer continued her claims, alleging that Jeff Walz had said his family wasn’t notified about his brother’s selection as vice presidential candidate and that they were denied security in the days following. The authenticity of these posts remains unconfirmed, but Loomer’s revelations have sparked significant discussion and controversy online.
