Blake Lively, now 37, spent her birthday on Sunday at Taylor Swift’s $17 million Rhode Island estate, amidst ongoing backlash surrounding her role in It Ends with Us.

The event took place at Swift's 11,000-square-foot mansion, where Lively was joined by her husband Ryan Reynolds and their four children: James, Inez, Betty, and 18-month-old Olin.

The guest list included several notable figures, including Taylor Swift herself, who was seen on a balcony with her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, and Mahomes' daughter, Sterling.

Taylor, who has a break from her Eras Tour until October, has owned the expansive eight-bedroom, ten-bathroom property since 2013.

Lively’s birthday gathering also featured Bradley Cooper, along with his daughter Lea De Seine, though Cooper’s girlfriend, Gigi Hadid, was reportedly absent.

Additionally, the weekend saw appearances from Brittany Mahomes, wife of Patrick Mahomes, and Jason Kelce, brother of Travis Kelce, along with his wife, Kylie Kelce.

Conspicuously missing from the celebration were any public birthday wishes from Lively’s famous friends, including her Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants co-stars. The absence of these well-wishes is noteworthy, particularly in light of the criticism Lively has faced recently.

The backlash centers on her promotional activities for It Ends with Us, where Lively has been criticized for her responses to questions regarding domestic violence in the film. A source revealed that Lively is "definitely saddened by the hate she is getting" and is worried about the impact on her career.

Lively’s portrayal of Lily Bloom in the film, which has garnered $242.6 million globally, has been marred by a tumultuous press tour. Reports of a strained relationship with director Justin Baldoni, who allegedly "created a tense atmosphere on set," have only fueled the negative sentiment.

Despite the success of her previous work, Lively is reportedly considering taking a step back to reassess her career, with aspirations to continue in producing, directing, and acting.
