BAFTA-winning actress Kerry Condon is joining the cast of the highly anticipated D-Day film, 'Pressure'. She will star alongside Andrew Scott and Brendan Fraser in the ticking-clock drama, set to begin filming in the UK next month. Condon will portray Captain Kay Summersby, the trusted aide of General Dwight D. Eisenhower.

The film tells the true story of the tense days leading up to the Normandy landings, focusing on the critical role of Britain’s Chief Meteorological Officer, James Stagg (played by Scott), in predicting weather conditions that would determine the success of the invasion.

Captain Kay Summersby, played by Condon, served as Eisenhower's chauffeur and personal secretary, forming a close bond with the General.

'Pressure' is directed by Anthony Maras and is based on a critically acclaimed play by David Haig. The film explores the immense pressure faced by Stagg and Eisenhower in making the crucial decision that would shape the course of history.

Condon, known for her roles in 'The Banshees Of Inisherin' and 'Better Call Saul', is currently working on an Apple F1 movie and the upcoming Star Wars series 'Skeleton Crew'.
