A seven-year-old orphan named Ma'az was brutally beaten by his madrassah teacher, identified as Qari Hanan, for failing to memorise a lesson.
The brutal assault, which occurred at a madrassa in Korangi No 1, resulted in severe injuries to the child.
As per reports, Qari Hanan used a barbed stick to strike Ma'az, causing a deep wound on the child's arm. The cruel teacher fled the scene following the assault. The injured child was shifted to a hospital for treatment. A case was registered against Qari Hanan at Korangi police station. SSP Tauheed Rehman, in the meantime, ordered a manhunt for the absconding teacher.
