PTI’s Gandapur caught on video distributing cash before Islamabad rally postponement

Video draws mixed reactions, with many speculating on the timing and motive behind cash handout

A video showing Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister and PTI leader Ali Amin Gandapur distributing cash to party workers has gone viral on social media, just hours before the party postponed its Islamabad rally. The event, initially scheduled for today at Islamabad’s Tarnol, will now be held on September 8.

The delay followed the abrupt cancellation of the rally’s permit by local authorities, leading to road closures towards Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

PTI leaders had vowed to go ahead with the rally, but overnight blockades on motorways and major routes forced a change in plans.

The situation also prompted the closure of schools in Islamabad today. Amid this, PTI announced it would reschedule the rally for September 8 upon receiving a new No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the local administration.

The viral video shows Gandapur distributing cash among party workers and rescue personnel, with PTI leader Shibli Faraz also present. The video has drawn mixed reactions online, with users speculating on the timing and motive behind the cash handout.
