The National Assembly Secretariat has delisted two Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) members while reinstating the memberships of two Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) lawmakers, Express News reported.
The Secretariat revoked the membership of PTI's Rana Muhammad Faraz Noon and Chaudhry Bilal Ejaz, removing them from the assembly roster.
Conversely, the assembly memberships of PML-N representatives Abdul Rehman Khan Kanju and Izhar Qayyum have been restored. Both members were re-included in the party's official list.
Following these changes, PML-N’s presence in the National Assembly has increased from 108 to 110 seats, while PTI’s numbers have dropped from 84 to 82.
The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) reinstated the memberships of the two PML-N lawmakers based on a Supreme Court directive.
