Marlon Wayans and DJ Vlad found themselves in a public feud over the weekend after the blogger claimed that the comedian wasn't worth the $40,000 fee he requested for an interview. The dispute began on August 9 when DJ Vlad uploaded an interview with comedian Aries Spears, during which they discussed Marlon's request for $40,000 to appear on Vlad's platform. DJ Vlad argued that Wayans, known for his work in White Chicks and The Wayans Bros., only generates 100,000 to 300,000 views on other platforms and thus doesn't justify his asking price.

Wayans responded sharply, defending his worth and criticizing DJ Vlad's tactics. "You mad? You unprofessional my guy," Wayans said in a post. "If you don’t like the number, keep it moving. You look BAD." He further expressed frustration with Vlad for making the negotiation public and attempting to undermine him. "I’m worth whatever I say," Wayans asserted. "People like you don’t make or break me, champ. I’m self-made. I go where I choose."
The exchange escalated as DJ Vlad mocked Wayans, bringing up the actor's past roles and suggesting his sexuality, to which Wayans responded with a series of insults targeting Vlad’s appearance. "Yo @djvlad your beard made from Ice Spice’s a** hair," Wayans posted. The comedian continued his tirade, taking aim at Vlad’s beard and alleged hair transplants, before concluding, "You can’t compete with me bro, I AM LEGEND."
