Sources told The Express Tribune that former DS Muhammad Akram had appointed his orderly Zaheer along with Chaudhry Parvez Elahi and Shah Mahmood Qureshi. Second Warder Jameel was assigned to the night shift with Qureshi, Warder Yasir Riaz was put in charge of the PB account, Sajjad Siddiqui was assigned to search duties, while Shabbir Faraz was appointed to oversee baggage search and VIP movement. Head Warder Zafaran was given a special appointment outside the jail.
