LODHRAN:

The district administration has issued directives for the cleanliness and the urgent need for improvements in local cemeteries.

The directive has been issued following complaints at a session held at District Council's Jamia Mosque on Thursday.

Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Abdul Raouf Mehr called for immediate cleanup efforts in the district's cemeteries and the installation of lights to enhance safety and visibility.

Present at the session were Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue Syeda Amina Moududi, Additional Deputy Commissioner General Muhammad Asad Ali, Lodhran Assistant Commissioner Atiq Ullah, Chief Officer District Council Rao Muhammad Ali, Municipal Committee CCIO Masoom Anam, and Executive Engineer Muhammad Mohsin, among other staff members.

During the open court, the deputy commissioner issued orders to address various issues including sanitation, sewage problems, and land registration services.

He emphasised that the primary goal of these sessions is to provide immediate relief to the public. Mehr also lauded the high rate of relief provided through these sessions, noting that they have effectively replaced traditional bureaucratic processes with a more direct approach to resolving citizens' issues.
