According to details, the Judicial Magistrate East in Karachi has announced the verdict in the case of circulating explicit photos of a female TikTok star.
The prosecution succeeded in proving the charges.
The court has sentenced accused Altaf Ali, to a total of 9 years in prison and imposed a fine of 60,000 rupees.
The court's decision also stated that if the fine is not paid, the defendant will face additional punishment.
The accused was found guilty of damaging the woman's dignity by circulating her explicit photos.
The plaintiff, a TikTok star, had filed a complaint with the FIA Cyber Crime Circle.
The plaintiff alleged that the defendant had invited her to his home for a project and had drugged their juice, causing both her and her mother to fall unconscious.
According to the TikToker, when she and her mother regained consciousness, they discovered that explicit photos of them were on the defendant's phone and had been shared with others.
The culprit was arrested by the FIA Cyber Crime Circle and was sentenced under the PECA Act.
