Chrisean Rock has had a challenging 2024, marked by her arrest in June after attending a court hearing for Blueface.
Originally on parole for drug charges in Oklahoma, a 2023 altercation with James Wright led to a warrant being issued against her.
Now, the rapper faces the possibility of an eight-year prison sentence if convicted. Despite these difficulties, Chrisean Rock is maintaining a positive outlook.
In a recent jail call, Rock addressed her fans directly, urging them not to be sad and assuring them that everything will work out.
She admitted that the situation initially frightened her, but she is now using the time as an opportunity to heal and improve.
"I'm using this time to heal," she said. "I'ma be out and I'ma be better. I can't wait to drop my song for y'all. I can't wait to be a better Rock."
Wack 100, a music executive, expressed optimism about Rock's situation back in June, suggesting that she might be released before Christmas or even before the summer ends.
Rock herself remains determined to do whatever it takes to return to her child, reflecting on her legal troubles during an Instagram Live session in March.
"I don’t plan on being in jail while my son is growing," she emphasized.
