Ayesha Curry in tears during encounter with French police at Paris Olympics

The Paris Olympics took an unexpected turn for Ayesha Curry, wife of NBA star Steph Curry, as she found herself in a tense situation with French police. 

The incident occurred after Team USA's victory over France in the gold medal basketball game, in which Steph Curry played a crucial role.

Ayesha, who was in Paris to support her husband, was seen wiping away tears during a confrontation with local authorities. The altercation reportedly arose over whether Ayesha and her infant son, Caius Chai, could access their car, which was stuck in traffic due to the presence of French President Emmanuel Macron.

Footage from the scene shows the situation escalating when Caius was allegedly struck on the head amid the chaos, prompting an emotional reaction from Ayesha and Steph's mother, Sonya. Steph’s teammate, Draymond Green, who was present, expressed frustration, saying, "So even after y'all hit the baby in the head, there's still nothing y'all can do to get them out of here?"

Despite the pleas, the French authorities remained firm, insisting the family stay put.

This incident cast a shadow over what had been a celebratory moment for the Curry family. Steph Curry had played a pivotal role in securing the gold medal for Team USA, showcasing his skills with a series of critical three-pointers in the game's final moments.
