RAWALPINDI:

The prices of milk and yogurt have seen a significant hike in Rawalpindi.

Milk now costs 220 rupees per liter, up from the previous price of 190 rupees, while the price of yogurt has risen to 240 rupees per kilogram, compared to the earlier rate of 200 rupees.

The Dairy Farmers' Union attributes the price surge to a rise in the costs of buffaloes, fodder, and feed, along with additional taxes.
