Lil Yachty, reluctantly confirming the news, has addressed the departure of Karrahbooo from the Concrete Boys collective.
The group, founded by Yachty, always presented a close-knit image, making the removal of Karrahbooo from the Concrete Boys' Instagram bio a surprising move.
Fans quickly noticed the change and saw that Karrahbooo unfollowed Lil Yachty and other group members on Twitter.
On July 29, Yachty took to Instagram Live to clarify the situation.
"How do I wanna say this," he began, acknowledging the awkwardness of the topic.
"I'mma say this sh*t one time. We have split ways with Karrah as far as this Concrete sh*t."
Yachty emphasized that there were no hard feelings between Karrahbooo and the group and expressed his hopes for her continued success.
"I have nothing to say," he explained. "Nothing bad to say, nothing negative to say about Karrah. I wish her the best in her career."
Despite his initial declaration to explain himself only once, Yachty reiterated his stance, avoiding specific reasons for Karrahbooo's departure.
"I don't have anything really bad to say or anything good to say," he added. "We just split, you know?"
This isn't the first time Lil Yachty and Karrahbooo have had disagreements.
In 2023, Karrahbooo faced backlash for her use of the N-word in her music.
Although of mixed heritage, Yachty sided with her critics, advising her not to use the word in her raps. Karrahbooo has not yet commented on her exit from Concrete Boys.
