Gypsy-Rose Blanchard has recently showcased her new tattoos, revealing the artwork she had completed earlier this year before announcing her pregnancy.

On July 25, Blanchard, 32, posted a video on TikTok and Instagram displaying her large back tattoo, which appears to be inspired by a phoenix. The video is set to Jordin Sparks' song "Tattoo."

Blanchard also displayed a forearm tattoo featuring the Unalome symbol, which represents the path to freedom according to Buddhist and Hindu traditions. She further highlighted matching husky dog tattoos shared with her boyfriend, Ken Urker, 31.

Blanchard tagged her cousin, Bobby Pitre, and Sailor Bob's Tattoo Parlor, where the tattoos were done, as well as artist Nadiya Vizier. In a caption, Blanchard noted that all tattoos were completed "BEFORE pregnancy."

Pitre told PEOPLE in April that the matching dog tattoos symbolise the strong bond between Blanchard and Urker.

Vizier added that the dogs on Blanchard's and Urker's forearms face each other when their arms are joined. Blanchard’s back tattoo was partially seen in images obtained by TMZ from the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.

Blanchard confirmed her pregnancy on July 9 in a YouTube video titled "I'm Pregnant, My Journey So Far," revealing that she is 11 weeks pregnant and expecting her first child in January 2025.

She acknowledged that the pregnancy was unexpected but expressed excitement for the new journey.

Blanchard's previous relationships include an engagement to Urker in 2018 and a marriage to Ryan Scott Anderson during her prison term, which ended in March 2024.
