Victim dies in front of relatives visiting home

FORT ABBAS:

A man and his mothe tortured a woman to death in a village near Fort Abbas.

The incident took place in village 271HR in Bahawalnagar district.

Fort Abbas police registered a case and arrested the suspects.

According to the police, Muhammad Bilal of Muhar Wali reported that his 24-year-old sister Irshad Bibi was married to Aamir Shahzad whose sister Humira was married to the complainant's brother.

A few months after the marriage, Aamir Shahzad and his mother Quraishan Bibi started harassing the victim. They also used to beat up her.

A few days ago, Irshad Bibi informed her family that her mother-in-law was asking her to leave the house.

Her relatives went to her home and saw that Aamir Shahzad was holding his wife and Qureshan Bibi was hitting her with a wooden paddle used to wash clothes.
