There is reportedly no chance of reconciliation for Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, as a source claims they are "not getting back together."

The Hollywood power couple have allegedly been spending time apart to try and resolve their issues independently, but this has not improved their situation, as reported by The Blast. 

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck notably spent their second wedding anniversary apart, and recently, the actor skipped his wife's 55th birthday party in the Hamptons.

The Grammy nominee hosted the "Bridgerton"-themed party a few days before her actual birthday on July 24.

The "Jenny From The Block" singer's marriage to Affleck has been surrounded by breakup rumors for several months, particularly due to their rare public appearances after initially not being seen together for 47 days.

According to a source who spoke to Fox News, Lopez and Affleck are now heading for their second split, as they have given up trying to make it work.

"They are not getting back together," the insider claimed. "They have no plans to announce that they aren't a couple right now. JLo wanted to make it work really badly, he's just a different person to her now."

Despite Lopez and Affleck staying silent about the rumors concerning their relationship, a source previously suggested that the public scrutiny on their marriage might be due to Lopez's films, "This Is Me… Now: A Love Story" and "The Greatest Love Story Never Told."
