Blake Lively is in on the jokes about her denim-clad outfit

Blake Lively, known for her fashion flair, recently shared a glimpse into her night out at Carbone in New York City's Greenwich Village. 

The actress, 36, sported a Self-Portrait denim minidress adorned with rhinestones, paired effortlessly with a denim Dries Van Noten trench coat and accessorized with a petite denim Chanel purse, Gucci shoes, and Storrow Jewelry.

In an Instagram post on Saturday, Lively playfully referenced Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake's infamous 2001 American Music Awards denim look, captioning her ensemble with, "You say Canadian Prom Dress, I say It’s Britney B----👖👖👖." 

The gathering, which celebrated actor Brandon Sklenar's birthday, included Lively's 'It Ends with Us' co-stars Hasan Minaj, Isabela Ferrer, and other friends.

The actress, alongside director Justin Baldoni and co-star Jenny Slate, showcased moments from the evening, including Sklenar's birthday dessert surprise. 

Lively, who previously made headlines in Valentino's $19,000 embroidered cutout jeans, humorously referred to her denim passion on Instagram last month, adding to her repertoire of memorable fashion statements.
