Eminem reveals full tracklist for 'The Death of Slim Shady'

The 19-track album, set to release on July 12, features collaborations and sequels to classic hits.

The wait is almost over. Eminem has pulled out all the stops in the build-up to his new album, "The Death of Slim Shady." 

As the release date approaches, excitement continues to grow, especially now that we have a confirmed tracklist. 

On July 9th, Eminem revealed the song titles, confirming the inclusion of lead singles "Houdini" and "Tobey."

Fans will be delighted to know that "The Death of Slim Shady" will feature 19 tracks, making it longer than both "Kamikaze" and "Recovery," and more in line with the deluxe editions of his recent albums. 

The tracklist hints at a mix of sequels to Eminem classics and new riffs on earlier song ideas. 

For instance, "Guilty Conscience 2" seems to be an extension of the iconic Dr. Dre collaboration from 1999. With Dr. Dre heavily involved in this project, it's safe to assume he will return for a couple of verses. 

Additionally, "Brand New Dance" calls back to "Square Dance" from Eminem's 2002 classic, "The Eminem Show."

The album's tracklist features strong demonic imagery, aligning with the final trailer, which shows a woman giving birth to a demonic infant. 

Songs like "Lucifer" and "Antichrist," placed back-to-back, along with "Bad One," suggest a dark theme throughout. 

Other titles, such as "Fuel" and "Road Rage," indicate a frenetic, angry energy, fitting Slim Shady's notorious persona. 

"Houdini" serves as a clear throwback to Eminem's heyday, blending seamlessly with the album's overall tone.

Later in the tracklist, more reflective song titles emerge. "Temporary" hints at a transient theme that moves away from Slim Shady's persona, leaning more towards a contemplative Eminem. 

The final track, "Somebody Save Me," continues this reflective trend.

Notably, the only listed features on the album are Big Sean and BabyTron, who appear on the already-released "Tobey." 

Based on the collaborations teased during the album's promotion, it seems other features will remain hidden until the album's release on July 12th.
