First Alhamra-Ajoka theatre workshop starts today

Lahore Arts Council collaborated with Ajoka Institute to hold a 2-months long theatre workshop for teaching and training young participants in the art of socially meaningful theatre.

The workshop will have its opening ceremony on Wednesday 10 July at Alhamra Arts Centre, in the presence of Lahore Arts Centre Chairperson and Executive Director.

The workshop lead trainer is Ajoka Institute founder Nirvaan Nadeem. Other trainers and mentors include Shahid Nadeem, Naseem Abbas and Madeeha Rasheed. Ajoka director Nirvaan Nadeem said that “the  response to the workshop announcement has been enthusiastic.
