In the late 2000s, both Megan Fox and Robert Pattinson were on the rise to stardom. Fox had captivated audiences with her role in Michael Bay's "Transformers" films, while Pattinson had become a global heartthrob as Edward Cullen in the "Twilight" saga.

However, in a 2009 Glamour interview, Fox didn't hold back her criticism of Pattinson and other young actors like Zac Efron.

Fox, then in her early 20s herself, ridiculed men in their 20s, including Pattinson, calling them a "joke" and a"waste of time." She specifically targeted their appearance, referring to their "big hair" and "suits." Fox expressed a belief that they had nothing substantial to offer in conversation and were too immature for her taste.

The actress went on to claim that she preferred men in their 30s, asserting that she had lived the life of a 35-year-old since she was 18.

While her comments might be seen as self-aggrandizing, she did clarify that they were simply her personal views and that she had nothing against Pattinson personally.

Despite the critical remarks, both Fox and Pattinson have continued to forge successful careers in Hollywood. They have grown significantly both personally and professionally since those early days.
