Anime enthusiasts looking forward to attending Anime Expo 2024 for just one day are now out of luck, as organizers have confirmed the complete sell-out of all one-day tickets.
The Society for the Promotion of Japanese Animation (SPJA) officially announced the depletion of these badges, following the sale-out of Saturday passes on June 30th and Sunday passes on June 26th.

The SPJA's statement, relayed via their official channels and social media, highlights the swift depletion of one-day badges, urging potential attendees to consider the remaining limited availability of 4-day passes. The organization also cautioned against purchasing passes from unauthorized third-party sellers due to prevalent risks of fraud.
Currently, the sole remaining option for prospective attendees is the purchase of 4-day passes, with organizers indicating that even these are nearing full capacity.
This surge in demand mirrors previous years' trends, with Anime Expo badges consistently selling out days before the event kicks off, as seen in 2023, 2022, and notably in 2019 when 4-day passes sold out while single-day options remained available.
Anime Expo, recognized as North America's largest anime convention and a major event within the industry, is organized annually by the SPJA. Scheduled from July 4th to July 7th at the Los Angeles Convention Center, the convention draws significant figures from the anime world alongside fervent fans for a packed weekend of events and exhibitions.
