Ben Affleck in Los Angeles while Jennifer Lopez stays in New York before July 4th holiday

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez seem to be spending time on opposite coasts just before the Fourth of July holiday.

This week, the 54-year-old actress and singer was seen in her hometown of New York City, while Affleck, 51, was photographed heading to his office in Los Angeles on Wednesday, July 3.

The Oscar winner donned a dark suit for his office visit in L.A. on Wednesday, wearing his wedding ring on his left hand and holding an iced coffee in the other.

Lopez also had her wedding ring on Monday, July 1, as she was seen out in New York City. The Atlas star wore a white crop top with "JLO BE MY MAMA" printed in bold black letters, paired with Acne Studios Super Baggy Fit Jeans.

Affleck recently finished filming The Accountant 2, a sequel to his 2016 action movie, in Los Angeles.

Lopez, meanwhile, starred in her latest Coach campaign and announced that her production company, Nuyorican, is collaborating with Netflix on a series adaptation of Emily Henry's young adult novel Happy Place.

She also took a trip to Europe last month, which included shopping in southern Italy, a boat day on the Amalfi Coast, and attending the Christian Dior Haute Couture fall/winter 2024-2025 show in Paris.

A source told PEOPLE on June 28 that Affleck and Lopez, who married in 2022 after rekindling their early-2000s romance the year before, are "focused on their separate lives" this summer.
