Court admits contempt petition

ABBOTTABAD:

The Peshawar High Court’s circuit bench in Abbottabad has admitted a contempt of court (CoC) petition against COMSATS University Abbottabad Campus director and ordered the respondents to reply to the petition.

The contempt of court petition was filed by Dr Imran Khan, Head of the Department of Management Science, COMSATS University Abbottabad Campus, who has already challenged the director's order removing him as head of the department.

The double bench comprising Justice Shakil Ahmed and Justice Faheem Wali heard the petitioner and directed the respondents to reply to the petition. The court also directed the respondent’s counsel to file a reply to the instant petition.
