KeKe Jabbar, star of OWN's 'Love & Marriage: Huntsville,' passes away at 42

Jabbar’s family confirmed the reality TV personality's death in a statement to Marcella Speaks.

KeKe Jabbar, known for her role on OWN's reality show 'Love & Marriage: Huntsville, has reportedly passed away at the age of 42. 

The news was shared by social media personality Marcella Speaks on Tuesday, July 2, who read a statement from Jabbar's family during a live stream on YouTube.

According to the statement, Jabbar died "peacefully at home surrounded in love," although the specific cause of death has not been disclosed. 

The family described her as a loving mother, sister, and friend known for her vibrant personality and laughter. They have requested privacy during their time of mourning.

Jabbar's cousin and fellow reality TV star, LaTisha Scott, also took to Instagram to ask for respect and privacy as the family deals with their loss.

Fans expressed their condolences on Jabbar's recent Instagram post, a video from May 26 where she announced her swim wig line while spending Memorial Day weekend with her family. 

Messages poured in, reflecting on Jabbar's impact and expressing hopes that her planned projects would continue in her memory.

Prior to her last Instagram update, Jabbar had shared photos celebrating her oldest son's high school graduation.
